Composition:
Each All-D drop contains Cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) – 400 IU.

Description:

All-D (Cholecalciferol) is one of the five forms of vitamin D. Cholecalciferol is synthesized in the skin from 7-dehydrocholesterol under the action of ultraviolet B (UVB) radiation from sunlight depending on the intensity of the UVB in the sunlight – determined by latitude, season, cloud cover, and altitude – and the age anddegree of pigmentation of the skin. Vitamin D is important for the absorption of calcium and for the functioning of calcium in the body.

Indications:
All-D (Cholecalciferol) is used to treat or prevent many conditions caused by lack of vitamin D, especially conditions of the skin or bones. Vitamin D is used to treat and prevent bone disorders (such as rickets & Osteomalacia), prevent bone loss (osteoporosis). Vitamin D drops (or other supplements) are given to breast-fed infants because breast milk usually has low levels of vitamin D.

Dosage:
Infants & Children below 4 years: 1 drop daily.
Children above 4 years: 2 drops daily.
Adults: 2-3 drops daily or as directed by the physician.

Indications: Indecatins of the respiratory tract, ENT, UTI, skin and soft tissue.
Dosage : See leaflet
Contra-ind : Penicillin hypersensitivity, history of co-amoxiclav-associated or penicillin associated jaundice or hepatic dysfunction.
Precaution : Hepatic impairment (monitor hepatic) function, pregnancy. Do not dilute syp below half-strength. Further see notes at the begininig of this section.
Adverse Effects : Hepatitis, cholestatic jaundice, erythema multiforme (including Stevens-Johnson syndrome), toxic epidermal necrolysis. exofoliativ dermatitis, vasculitis, rarely prolongation of bleeding time dizziness headache convulsions, (particularly with high doses or in renal impairment), sperficial staining of teeth with suspension phlebitis at injection site.
